The Director of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), Rufus Idris, will speak on the realities of accelerating climate change and what changes are needed to transform African food systems to be able to sustainably feed growing populations amid increased economic and climatic uncertainties. He will touch on ways in which food systems need to adapt to minimize greenhouse gases and protect the environment, as well as ways that international development and the private sector can support food system actors, including smallholder farmers.
